Originally from Scotland, I've been involved in golf for over 30 years and have spent the last 20 coaching and helping golfers improve their game.
My coaching journey began through my PGA training at Lanark Golf Club, where I built a strong foundation in understanding the golf swing, player development, and delivering coaching that creates lasting improvement.
After qualifying, I moved to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, and spent eight years developing golfers across Sabah. Working with players of every age, ability and background shaped a belief I still coach by: there's no single perfect golf swing, only the best solution for each individual golfer.
I then relocated to George Town, Penang, to work with MST Golf in an indoor performance environment, combining hands-on coaching with modern technology.
How I coach
Today my coaching blends PGA expertise with advanced performance analysis to deliver a personalised online experience to golfers anywhere in the world. I help you understand how you move, why the ball behaves the way it does, and how to build improvement that actually lasts, with clear feedback, structured practice, and coaching that fits real life, so progress continues long after a lesson ends.
